It’s bigger, but is it better?

DC Shoes founder and Subaru Rally Team USA driver, Ken Block, had a viral hit with the original Gymkhana Practice video earlier this year. Like any good Hollywood blockbuster, this sequel features bigger stunts, more stars and a lot more slo-mo video. Flaming hands, smashing light bulbs and paint balloons all get their 15-second of fame in the unabashedly epic short, “Gymkhana Two, The Infomercial.”
We put the question out to our Twitter followers, “Which do you prefer, the original Gymkhana video or Gymkhana 2?” This is some of their responses:
race_addict @Subiesport 2 was awesome, but felt over-produced. 1 felt more seamless and looked more like a real driving demo and less Hollywood.
Dubaru @Subiesport #2 has closer calls #1 had better stunts I think. Both are awesome though
Eddington @Subiesport #1 best, pure driving and editing really tugs at you. #2 is fun but not the emotional drive as the first.
Which do you think is best? Post in the comments below.

I think they’re both awesome. The first one kinda lets you figure out for yourself that the stunts are insane, the second one tries to convince you.

TBH the first one was more exciting. I think it plays a bit closer to the driving enthusiast, whereas the second is for all audiences who aren’t familiar with some of the things the first one that didn’t make sense.

I guess I’m a little pedantic, but that dust mask does little to mitigate the mercury vapor released from breaking fluorescent light tubes… OVER YOUR HEAD!
